Recipe for Cold & Flu Season Apple Cider (Made With Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar)

This drink is perfect for the cold weather months. It’s very simple to make, and very economical as well!  You can have it every day, even if you’re not sick.

It combines the alkalizing benefits of apple cider vinegar, (when you are sick your body is searching to regain its PH balance) the antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of raw honey, and the immune system boosting power of cinnamon.

It is also highly effective at draining out mucus from your sinuses, so if you have sinus issues or a sinus infection, it’s really good for that!  For the same reason it is very good for soothing coughs. It is very supportive for the respiratory system.

Speaking of coughs, here’s a homemade cough syrup recipe that’s great for kids and adults alike:

Cold Season Cider

8-10 oz. filtered or spring water
1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
1-2 teaspoons organic, unfiltered & unheated honey (Like Really Raw Honey)
1 tbsp organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (Like Bragg’s)
Bring 8 oz. water to a boil.

While the water is heating up, measure out the honey, cinnamon, and cider vinegar into a cup.

Pour freshly boiled water into cup, and stir well.  You can drink this multiple times a day if you want!

For your extraordinary health all cold and flu season long,

Catherine Slezinger
