Do you know what that is? In the picture? It’s organic raw milk frozen into ice cube trays. And it makes YUMMY ice cream in your blender! Here’s how to do it:
(This recipe was given to me by my milk farmer’s wife, Jane, she is the very best!)
Blender Ice Cream
4 cups organic raw milk frozen into ice cube trays
1 cup organic raw whole milk cream
1 cup organic coconut sugar or Rapadura
1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract
3-4 organic egg yolks
In a VitaMix or other high powered blender, add the cream and sugar and mix on low speed until sugar is dissolved. Then, add the ice cubes, Rapadura, vanilla, and egg yolks. Blend on highest speed until just combined and a creamy, but firm, consistency is achieved.
My raw milk farmer’s wife said she will also often add flavorings like organic peanut butter, organic cocoa powder, or anything else you think would be delicious!
